Because it needs to pass to the lower chamber and house of the senate, the subject is interpreted in many angles. However, in the end, the looming questions will this really affect government grants aimed at debt relief? If we look closely, there are really areas of concern for certain sectors. This is true to the case of large banking corporations in comparison to smaller ones.
According to analysts and media reports, large Banking Corporation will be directly affected if the program pushes through. There’ll cuts on their chances of availing government grants aimed at debt relief, to bail out debts. While small or community banks will have greater access to the program.
The principle behind is actually good for the simple American public. When community banks are kept afloat, they can in turn provide loans to individuals in their locality. Thus, results to help their community to be financially stable in times of crisis and job loss. When the grass root of the society is financially sound, symbioses of society will be stable.
In a way this situation when applied with simple reasoning is actually good. However, in the business world, large Banking corporations are supporting small banks. So even if small banks get federal grants to stay afloat, they still large banks for more support. The fact is, there is still the symbiotic nature of these organizations.
Such scenario will still greatly affect a majority of the American public. This might be perhaps the reason for negative reactions from political analysts and opposing political party of the President. To think that even from the president’s Democratic Party, there is existing opposition to this program.
At the end of the day, what Americans really worry are, mounting bills, mortgage and putting food of the table. And if such freeze will affect government grants aimed at debt relief, likewise, affect them directly, then this is the bigger issue.
