DemocracyNow.org – Several prominent US environmental groups have accused the Obama administration of obstructing negotiations at the United Nations Climate Change Conference and have called for the United States to step aside and let other countries carry on with the talks. Earlier today, the top US climate negotiator Todd Stern addressed the UN summit for the first time. But as he took the stage, Middlebury College student Abigail Borah interrupted the proceedings. “I am scared for my future,” Borah told Stern. “2020 is too late to wait. We need an urgent path to a fair, ambitious, and legally binding treaty. You must take responsibility to act now.” Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman later questioned Stern about Borah’s comments and accusations the United States is a major obstacle to progress at the climate talks. Some of the world’s leading climate scientists have been embarrassed by the publication of hundreds of private emails and research documents, which were stolen by computer hackers from a British university. The ABC don’t want you to know the TURTH! This video is but one example of a mainstream media outlet (albeit a government funded channel) pushing a BLATANT LIE! This shows how the ABC will LIE to the people to push through the Carbon Tax and the Green Agenda. Climate Change is being used as political tool in a Green agenda that is not so much about saving the environment but more about Global Governance. Quick pay the Carbon Tax or the polar bears will die!!!!!!! By the way an ETS will hand over your Carbon Tax to International Banksters, the very ones that brought you the derivative housing bubble and the GFC. Video Rating: 5 / 5

Climate change poses an unprecedented challenge and opportunity for the human community. Much will depend on how we respond over the next few years. What is perhaps most greatly needed is the guidance of our spiritual traditions, the wisdom and the love that comes from deep prayer and contemplative practice. Climate change, more than any other issue, has the potential to unite us as a human community. It also has the potential to divide us. We will succeed only if we are able to tap that which unifies so that we can know more deeply our Oneness, the underlying source from which all life is drawn. The Global Peace Initiative of Women (GPIW) organized a strong gathering of spiritual leaders from across the world in support of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change COP15 that took place in Copenhagen in December of 2009. The delegation included strong representation from the Eastern traditions and included faith leaders from countries strongly affected by climate change. Included in the delegation are representatives from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Croatia, Denmark, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Norway, Pakistan, Senegal, Thailand, UK, Uganda, the United States, and Vietnam.
